Nextcloud Notes on Android fails to connect

When I try to connect Nextcloud Notes on my phone to my server, I get the following message. Anyone know what this means and how to solve the problem?

And before anyone asks, yes, I do have Notes installed on the server…

In the Nextcloud Android client (not Notes Android but the main Nextcloud app), are you able to access the files in that account currently?

I’ve never encountered this behavior, but I have seen some reports of others that just needed to re-authenticate. The main Android app is what handles the authentication for the Notes app.
