Nextcloud modifications

Hello everyone,
My question is about the modifications done on a nextcloud instance.
I am the system administrator of our nextcloud and i did some design modifications on our nextcloud. So i expect that when a user enters into nextcloud , his user interface should automatically be the same as mine since i am the system administrator and i prevented other users from changeing the design etc. But curiously this is not the case and i don’t know what the problem could be.
Can anyone help me find a solution for this ?
Thanks

In order to be able to really help, it takes more than this sparse information. For example, what kind of changes have been made and how.

i changed the design and downloaded new apps.
My nextcloud is also in german but for the users it’s still in english

That is still to litle information. You should explain what you changed and what you want to be changed globaly.

Yes. That is by design. Every user can change his prefered language in his personal setting.

But there is a config.php key to force a language.

Read → this in the manual ←

i have changed the background so that it should be standard with a blue colour.
Then i downloaded some apps like the external portal app. This app should be displaced as wizard on the dashboard but the users can’t see these modifications when logged in

OK. Now I see.

Let me explain:

There are two sections where you can change settings: The personal and the admin section.

So are there 2 sections for theming as well

the personal, named (in german): Erscheinungsbild und Barierefreiheit

the admin, named (in german): Design

Only the later (Design) has global effect. There you can disable user theming as well.

Ich hoffe das gibt Klarheit,
viel Glück!

The default layout of the dashboard for all users can be set with the following → occ ← command. Example:

occ config:app:set dashboard layout --value="files,activity,calendar"

Read → this ← in the manual for details

Hope that helps,
much luck!
