Nextcloud Hydrogen for iOS 6.6.1.8

Hi,
since the last update I have a bar at the top, which I see no way to get it removed/deactivated. It is to me HIGHLY disturbing. Could you please let me know how to deactivate it?

Thank you in advance.
Cheers,
Alex

Also the possibility to download pictures is only available at “Media” where all directorys and images are mixed up, while in “Files” this option is not available. (via the 3 dots)
Could you please revert to the last ipad version?

This seems to be a new feature in iOS 18. According to this article, you should be able to customize it to some extent. However, I’m not sure if it can be disabled completely. According to the article, it also seems to depend on the specific app how much you can customize it, i.e. which elements you can make disappear, so it might make sense to open a feature request on GitHub if you think it should be improved by the app developers: GitHub · Where software is built

This would probably be better placed on GitHub as well, but please check if there is already an issue on the topic before opening a new one.

The Nextcloud app uses a standard UIKit tab bar. iOS 18 changed the design and functionality significantly. So it was something coming from the platform we build on instead of an intended change. There actually is an open issue on GitHub about adopting and adapting to the changed appearance on iPads imposed by iOS 18.
