Hi, Using nextcloud 29, I have 2 dekstop synchronizing to the server and, if there is a small modification… This is OK. the synch works both way. If there are a lot of modifications, this is a nightmare… I can see the icon… ‘searching’ ( Checking folder change) but it never finishes… restarting the desktop do nothing… even using the latest version " .Appimage"
Is there a trick or something that I’ve missed ?
You tagged the update problems, was it not a problem before? And if so, was it a update of the client or the server?
Can you quantify this a bit? This way we could check if someone can reproduce the same behavior…
It can always be a good idea to check the logs, in case you see a lot of errors, this might already be a good starting point for a potential issue.

Difficult to say more… 
. I am using the .AppImage on linux…
- if I select some folders, I can see the Sync working… and this is OK… but with some folders, usually quite big… It’s too long… ( ex : 10Gb) Even after one night, it still looking for sync… That 's not possible…
Is that the folder size that it doesn’t like ? or is that a specific file ? I don’t know - in term of LOG. On the server nothing linked to the client… and to be honest I don’t know where the " .AppImage" is filling a Log or not… and where it is:frowning:
