Good morning, I have a problem with the Nextcloud windows client.
I am using the program without problems and for a month or so, when I give the Nextcloud desktop icon tells me that it does not exist and find but when I install it again it works again without problems.
The data is still there and is not lost.
Tried reinstalling the program, doing a clean reinstall of the program, etc..
are you the sole admin of that PC? if not, try contacting your admin to figure out what’s going on. it sounds like there’s some sort of MDM disabling software
maybe this will help, the problem started with the last version of windows 10, and seeing that we did not get it to work, we tried to upgrade to windows 11 without success.
Who is “we”? A company? A family? You and your alter ego?
Are you all using the same computer, or does the issue occur on multiple machines?
How do you know the Nextcloud client had uninstalled itself? Does it not sync anymore? Is the icon missing from the system tray? Is it missing from the Control Panel under Apps & Features? Are the shortcuts or sync icons in Windows Explorer gone? What does the Windows Event Log say? Could this ominous desktop icon be the installer and not an actual shortcut to the Nextcloud client?
Sorry, but all of this sounds like a “This has nothing to do with the Nextcloud client” issue."
