NextCloud Client deleted my local files due to low disk space (ubuntu)

Hello,

This is not the first time that this happens, and it’s very problematic…
When my computer reaches low disk space (0B left), the nextcloud client seems to make space in the sync directories and basically removes some huge synchronized directory…
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but it should better ask the user if he wants to proceed before taking any drastic action of that kind.
After I recovered some space on my local disk, the client starts to resync all the files he has deleted.

Thanks for help or advice to make sure this does not happen anymore,
All the best,
Loic

I had a similar issue.
My root disk ran out of space.
NextCloud directory, and home directory are on others disks, but all NextClouds files disappeared.
After cleanup on root disk I had to remove/validate/reselect sync on all forder I want to have synced back.

Same happened to me, nextcloud was downloading large files and causing 0B free space, then started deleting local files (much more than needed I think). There seems to be a longer issue on it here: https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/issues/260
