Nextcloud version (eg, 10.0.2):11.0.5snap1
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 16.04): Ubuntu Snappy Core 16
The issue you are facing:
I wish to combine use of Syncthing and Nextcloud on my Nextcloud Box (RPi3), in that I want to use Syncthing to sync just the Music folder of a few users directly to my Emby installation on another computer. However, the permissions of the data folders appear restrictive by default:
zebouski@nextcloud:~$ ls -lah /var/snap/nextcloud/common/nextcloud/ | grep data drwxrwx--- 6 root root 4.0K Jul 22 17:21 data
I’m not sure what’s the best method of letting all user’s data folders be read/writeable by Syncthing. Any advice?
Using the Nextcloud Desktop client to sync to the Emby PC won’t work, as that client can only be set to use one Nextcloud user. I need to sync multiple user’s Music folders to this PC.
