We are pretty happy with our nextcloud server, but we ran into an unforeseen issue. We cannot connect to webdav from windows core servers and there is also no browser. Is there another way or will there be a feature (for example samba connection) in the future?

Can use the external storage app to connect a samba (smb/cifs) server
Connection with dav2fs on Linux works great for me.
