Hello,

I’ve got a question. I have a desktop computer on which I installed Ubuntu 16.04. What I want, is to sync my appointments/tasks/contacts from my Android mobile phone via Davdroid with Thunderbird on my computer. I installed nexycloud 11.03 on my computer. I only use Nextcloud for this task. Now my question is if you would use ssl to synchronize these data,

Since you will send sensitive data over the internet it is best practice to use SSL.
