Nextcloud and OnlyOffice updates?

Hi All,
We installed OnlyOffice and the associated community server through the Apps. We face the saving issue mentionned all over the place since 2018: the documents are saved in the redis cache, but not saved on disk. As a result, a lot of work has been lost and we deactivated the app.

We like OnlyOffice because it handles documents with several equations (20 pages+) very well. This is not the case with LibreOffice/Collabora.

Since we have not seen any updates on the aforementionned bug above (nothing since 2020, according to our search), we have two questions:

1- Does anyone know if OnlyOffice integration is still part of the NC future?
2- Is there a functionnal solution that resolves the cache vs disk problem with OnlyOffice?

If you run the not included OnlyOffice version (in docker for example) it’s working well.

Apparently NC created it and expected OnlyOffice to help maintain it, but they don’t want to.

It is a mystery to me why the app is still in existence in it’s current form.
