I’m using nextcloud-20.0.2 on ubuntu-18.0.4 which has php-7.2.
I cannot activate mail-1.7.2 within nextcloud, it seems to require php-7.3.
When I look at the appstore, I see this table:
Nextcloud version | Mail version | … |
---|---|---|
Nextcloud 20 | 1.7.2 | … |
Nextcloud 19 | 1.4.2 | … |
Nextcloud 18 | 1.4.2 | … |
I learned via Github that:
- for mail-1.6.x and 1.7.x, you have to use Nextcloud 20 and PHP 7.3
- for mail-1.5.x, you can use Nextcloud 20 and PHP 7.2
For me as a user of nextcloud and mail (maybe in the future), this is quite unsatisfying. At the moment, I cannot rely on the appstore table to determine the mail version to use. At least for my instance, mail 1.7.2 is not compatible with my nextcloud 20 instance. So I would like to see:
Nextcloud version | Mail version | … |
---|---|---|
Nextcloud 20 | 1.5.2 | … |
Nextcloud 19 | 1.4.2 | … |
Nextcloud 18 | 1.4.2 | … |
