Nextcloud 17.0.1 and Talk not working

Nextcloud version (eg, 12.0.2) : Nextcloud 17.0.1
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 17.04) : Ubuntu Server 18.04.3
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25) : 2.4.29
PHP version (eg, 7.1) : 7.2.24

The issue you are facing:

I was hoping someone could help me, when I use Nextcloud Talk inside my local network, it works just fine, I can see the other users video and hear the audio. When I try to use Nextcloud Talk from the internet, the video feed doesnt show any video feed and the audio doesnt come through either.

The other features of Nextcloud work perfectly. I can access NC from outside my network, its just the Nextcloud Talk app that doesnt seem to want to connect.

I have opened port 80 and 443 for the IP address of my NC server (TCP only). I did try opening port 80 and 443 on UDP also but got no favourable result from that.

hey @clendee

as long as you won’t install your own co/turn-server AV won’t work outside of your lan. pls use seachfunction of the forum for more infos about that (and maybe even before posting :wink: )

Apologies for posting unnecessarily.
Is this a recent change? I used to have NC Talk working perfectly on NC 15 and NC 16 without configuring or installing any other services.
