Before I start: I am a newbie at what I want to do. Let’s explain.
I have 2 nc instances running in two different servers in 2 different locations. On one of them (nc1), an external local path is included with external storage app.
Now, I want to make this dir available on the second server (nc2). I believe I can easily solve this by creating a federation between the 2 clouds. My concern is rather a security one, as these 2 instances then are talking over the internet.
Can somebody please explain if this is quite secure or do I have to think about other solutions such as connecting the 2 servers via VPN and then mount the dir on nc2 somehow locally on server 2 - and then access to this dir from nc2?
