New user can't log in (verified)

I create a new user, set a Password, and try to login as that user, doesn’t work (no LDAP or such). In the log I see this:

[no app in context] Warning: Login failed: Marc (Remote IP: 80.138.247.82)

your post is a bit of lacking some valuable information as you have deleted the template the was made for exactly that purpose.

Now everyone can only make guesses… like: is that IP blocked? (for which reason ever)
