Need to move data to mounted storage

From what i have seen so far with NextCloud i am very impressed.
However, I need to move the data storage directory to another mounted drive (larger), is there a way to do this? i have tried just changing the path in the config.php but when i refresh the web page it says “missing ocdata” but i cannot find this to make sure it’s gone across. Any ideas would be received gratefully.

Try searching the forum for how to do this. You can search the error as well for lots of related topics and solutions.

When you change the config.php you should copy or move all your data to the new location you set in the config.php this includes HIDDEN files starting with .
