Need help! cant access nextcloud server after updating

Nextcloud version (18.0.12.2):
Operating system and version (unraid 6.8.3 (nexcloud in a docker):
Apache or nginx version (nginx 1.18.0 i think, nginx.conf says 2018/08/16):
PHP version (7.2):

The issue you are facing: cannot access nextcloud via web ui or apps after updating from v17 to v18. i noticed my server version was still on 16 and started the process of updating to the current version following spaceInvaderOne’s videos on updating, updated to 17 with no problems, moved on to update to 18 and again no problems till i went to go back to my nextcloud home when it wouldn’t load, and my web browser displayed error 500 http error, i think i solved that but now it just says “192.168.1.3 refused to connect”
i am running nextcloud in a docker on unraid, i can access the server from command line only

if anyone else gets this problem, i have solved the issue through multiple tries of manually upgrading and verifying the files of the same version from the github repo.
i ended up downloading v18 off github manually updating, and only moving the apps that the command line update prompt said weren’t installed properly, and once i had v18 working the built-in updater wouldn’t work so i had to click the download, manually update to it (v19) once it finished and i was back in the UI of v19 i could do the built in updater…now to re-install the apps i had originally.
tl;dr, had to manualy upgrade a few times before it got working, disabled apps till i had bare minimum to run. then it started to work no clue what the actual cause and problem was, but whatever it was manualy updating seemed to help
