NCP: No possibility to update NC

Hello all,

since a few weeks I have the problem that NCP does not show what the current NC version is and there is no possibility to update NC.

I’m on v1.41.10.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how it came about and I don’t know how to solve it.
Do you have any ideas?

Greetings
Patrick

NC’s native update notification app has been disabled (since NCPv1.41.n), to avoid using the NC’s web updater. NCP uses the NC cli updater

To get rid of the php-imagick error, the module needs to be installed, not recomended by NC devs.
On my home server, I did anyway, by running:

sudo apt install php-magick
sudo apt install libmagickcore-6.q16-6-extra

Otherwise your system seems fine and mostly up to date Although I updated NC to 21.0.5 using nc-update-nextcloud from ncp-config. If you enable nc-autoupdate-nc it should update to NC 21.0.4 .

Thanks!
I didn’t know that the notification was disabled. But it’s ok for me if it’s intended like that.
I have activated the nc-update-nextcloud option right now. I will wait for the auto update.

No, actually I’m ignoring the php-imagick error. As you say, it’s not recommended.
