i’ve just updated NCP from command line from 20.0.8 to 21.0.1 and lost the admin panel…used this command sudo -u www-data php /var/www/nextcloud/updater/updater.phar…anyone know if the admin panel will be back or is it gone for good in version 21? i know this is more relevant to nextcloudPI but it was very practical in my case
You are not supposed to update a ncp installation through nextcloud updater, ncp provides curated updates to nextcloud usually short after x.0.2 release of nextcloud, which is tested and proven fully functional.

Your best option is to restore a backup to the state of before the update…
The solution depends on your setup, which you did not provide any info in first place.
If you have your data and backups on external drive, id suggest to make a fresh install of ncp and then restore a backup
yeah i guess thats what would be the best…but was hoping for another quicker solution
