Ncp 1.53.1 - update fails with "Site not found" error

I have an outdated NCP (v1.53.1). I’m trying to update but it stops with an error:

Running nc-update
Downloading Updates
Performing Updates
ERROR: Site nextcloud does not exist!
Error while applying update 1.53.1 Exiting...

Weirder still, it says it’s updating to “1.53.1”, the version it is currently stuck on.

How do I fix the “Site nextcloud does not exist” error?
