NC Set to Daily update channel - Updater doesn't work

I have an NC setup set to the Daily update channel. I installed it manually, and from what I read it seems as if the Updater app should work. It says: A new version is available: Nextcloud daily Open updater

When I Open Updater it says: Current version is 10.0.1.
No update available.

Is this normal?

After you changed the channel, you should logout and login again. Then it should normally work…
