More than one Nextcloud Mail Alias possible (private Nextcloud Workspace via IONOS)?

Hi,

I am a private user of nextcloud workspace via IONOS. I use nextcloud mail and have my own mail domain which I book from IONOS.

My questions are:

  1. Can I change my local part in my mail (the part in front of the @-sign)?
  2. Can I set up more than one alias - and if yes, how can i do it (for example using two domains which enter the same inbox: a@domain.com and b@domain.com)

The IONOS support could not help me in this case an told me to ask the nextcloud support/community.

Hi,

As already mentioned in the other topic you opened, Nextcloud is not a mail server.

Ionos must implement a smtp & imap/pop3 server in their setup and also provide support for that. This forum can’t help you with that.
