Why the monitoring app shows only the last 24h of users activity? Is there a way to increase these log time to at least 30days?

As I have a requirement that calls for access to a logged on/logged off and files accessed.
I’ve downloaded the log from the user interface but only shows one day.
Is there an easier way to view user activity on Nextcloud?? From a GDPR view, which Nextcloud 14 claims to address I can’t seem to find the information I need for audit.
