The Mindmap app used to be part of NextCloud. Why is the app currentliy not available?
Afaik, there has never been a mindmap app that was part of the Nextcloud core or developed directly by Nextcloud.
However, there are and have been several third party apps. Currently, if I search for “mindmap” three apps are found, but only one of them is compatible with the latest version of Nextcloud.
Alternatively you could also use draw.io, which according to their blog supports mindmaps as well.
Did you mean the files_mindmap app?
The app itself is abandoned and is unfortunately no longer being developed by the maintainer. But the Nextcloud engineer artonge has made the most important adjustments to make it compatible with the vue-powered interface of Nextcloud greater 28.

The limitations, that mindmap files cannot be opened when shared, will hopefully be solved with Nextcloud > 31, when the share UI will be ported to Vue as well.
