I tried to migrate an owncloud 9 installation to nextcloud 11 and it failed with:
Exception: Updates between multiple major versions and downgrades are unsupported.
What version of owncloud should I install to make the migration successful?
Currently you can’t skip major version, so you must go from NC 9.0.x to NC 10.0.x before upgrading to NC 11.0.x (x indicates the latest version of each major version, e.g. https://nextcloud.com/changelog/#latest10).
Yes, but I try to migrate from owncloud, not from nextcloud!
Sorry, you can go from OC 9.0 to NC 10, and then to NC 11.
