Getting help
In order to help you as efficiently (and quickly!) as possible, please fill in as much of the below requested information as you can.
Before clicking submit: Please check if your query is already addressed via the following resources:
- Official documentation (searchable and regularly updated)
- How to topics and FAQs
- Forum search
(Utilizing these existing resources is typically faster. It also helps reduce the load on our generous volunteers while elevating the signal to noise ratio of the forums otherwise arising from the same queries being posted repeatedly).
Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can.

Summary of the issue you are facing:
I am trying to migrate a NextCloud installation from a webhosting account (php/apache/mysql only) to AIO. On this installation Talk in installed (with an external High-Performance-Backend).
As a first step I migrated the Installation from the webhosting account to an interim server with NextCloud with mysql (database dump & import, same NextCloud Version) with no problems.
The migration of the mysql Database to PostgeSQL aborted in the first attempt with the Talk App installed and enabled. There were several missing rows in tables related to Talk.
Then I disabled and removed the Talk App.
The migration of the database after that worked well, but it stated, that some tables were not converted, including oc_talk_commands.
After that I had a NextCloud installation running at PostgeSQL, but I was not able to install the Talk App. I got the error message below (NextCloud Logs)
I am now looking for a way to perform the migration to PostgreSQL and continue using Talk on the final installation (losing all chats would not be a big problem).
As I would like to switch to the official AIO route with the installation, I would appreciate any tips!
Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):
- Install (and use) Talk in an Installation based on mysql
- Deactiviate and remove the Talk App
- Migrate the database unsing occ db:convert-type…
- Try to install the Talk App
Log entries
Nextcloud
Please provide the log entries from your Nextcloud log that are generated during the time of problem (via the Copy raw option from Administration settings->Logging screen or from your nextcloud.log
located in your data directory). Feel free to use a pastebin/gist service if necessary.

Tips for increasing the likelihood of a response
- Use the
preformatted text
formatting option in the editor for all log entries and configuration output. - If screenshots are useful, feel free to include them.
- If possible, also include key error output in text form so it can be searched for.
- Try to edit log output only minimally (if at all) so that it can be ran through analyzers / formatters by those trying to help you.
