Messed Up My Permissions for NextCloud Folder And Getting 403 Error

Earlier today I was doing something and somehow i messed up my permission for the next cloud folder and got a 403 error.

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 28.0.0
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): Apache/2.4.52 (Ubuntu)
PHP version (eg, 7.4): 8.1

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? Y:

It would be nice to know, what “something” is. What exactly did you do?

My NC folder lives in the Share folder and that Share folder also has a Media folder which I had created for Plex Server, for that setup, i was messing with some permissions and in that process, I must have messed permissions of NC and Share foder.

This is my access log

And this is error log

OK, I found a problem:

The logfile says, it searches for a directory /nc inside of the directory /home/rahul/Share/NC but your files are inside of NC.
Did you move all files inside of /home/rahul/Share/NC/nc to /home/rahul/Share/NC?

You now have two possibilities: Change the path in your server config or move the files back to /home/rahul/Share/NC/nc

I hope that solves your issue.

btw: You do not have to delete entire posts and then open a new post, you can simply edit/update your post if you want to change something, that way it makes less noise.

Much luck,
