I’m facing a weird problem in Nextcloud. When opening the mail app, the INBOX shows 9 messages as unread. This is correct, it’s what other clients report as well. But when filtering for unread emails, I get 19 messages shown as unread. I have tried clearing cache in my browser and in the mail account, force syncing the account, etc. But those messages, that show as read in other clients, are still shown as unread. Why is the state of these messages not updated? This renders the mail app unusable, if it can’t display the correct state of emails like any other client, both desktop and webmail, would…
