Mail account provisioning - how to delete mail account from user

Hi,

Iā€™m running Nextcloud 18.0.4 on raspbian buster with Apache2. All software is up-to-date and working fine.

Logging-in as ā€˜adminā€™, then in Settings > Groupware, I have enabled ā€˜account provisioningā€™ for all users. This works perfectly for all users, and correctly configures their email accounts by default.

However, when I select the Mail app when logged in as user ā€˜adminā€™, there is (not surprisingly) a mail account for admin@mydomain.com. As there is actually no email account on mydomain.com for a user called ā€˜adminā€™, I would like to either change the email account that user ā€˜adminā€™ uses in the Mail app, or just remove the incorrect account.

Does any one have any advice on this?

Thanks very much.

Hi,

iā€™m having the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Thanks

wellā€¦ one idea would be: Add an account to your NC referring to the desired eailaddress and make this new account an admin

another idea would be: Add an admin-account to your Mailserver and forward it to your emailaccount (or set an alias)
