MacOS app connection errors

Hi there!

My Nextcloud is working perfectly fine if I use the browser and I managed to get rid of all warnings showing in the dashboard. It is all ok.

However, the MacOS app is giving the following errors:

  1. When I add https on the domain name, it opens the following pop-up: http://dns.d.pr/SttD/5lXpjSbh
    "Connection failed"
    Failed to connect to the secure server address xxxxxx.com. How do you wish to proceed?
    If I choose “Retry unencrypted over HTTP (insecure)” it goes through to the next screen (login/password).
    When I go to xxxxx.com/status.php I see the following message:
    {“installed”:true,“maintenance”:false,“needsDbUpgrade”:false,“version”:“11.0.2.7”,“versionstring”:“11.0.2”,“edition”:"",“productname”:“Company Name”}
    I am sure the SSL is also properly configured and all browsers are showing the SSL as valid.
    Question: Any idea how to fix this SSL issue?

  2. When I try the non-SSL connection, it asks for the username / password, I get the error: http://dns.d.pr/aeiS/3LImV5Te
    "Access forbidden by server. To verify that you have proper access, click here to access the service with your browser."
    And voilà… if I try through the browser, it works fine.
    I even changed the password to something more simple and no special characters but no luck.

It seems this app won’t work for me for some reason.

The server is running on CentOS, PHP 7, MariaDB and I even tried to disable the firewall. No luck.

Any clue?

Thank you
