Lost access for user

after changing ldap settings, a user was ‘recreated’ and access to previous users account is lost?
how can I recover the data?

more precise:
Frank received a new ‘displayname’ (26C2…)
and a new Frank was created (f26f…)
the 'problem account is only visible in the ‘recently active’ accounts with the last line stating: You do not have permissions to see the details of this account

Your configured datadirectory will have home directories for every user containing their data.

In addition there’s always restoring from your backups.

As for the underlying cause, depends on what LDAP settings you changed. :wink:
