I am wanting to switch to NC. I’ve been a long time user of owncloud and have now found it slow. This is what I want and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Of course, I want file storage for pics and other files. Next note taking, NC has a markdown editor, but do they have an android app? I want a fast system. I’ll be using this on a rpi3.
RPi3 is not a high-end performance server, so I’m not sure what you consider as slow and what you expect from this device in the end of the day. You can improve the performance considerably by tuning your configuration (database settings, cache settings, …) and php 7.0.
Just a switch to NC won’t increase your performance.
