Local installation of next cloud has died

Hello

Sorry to post here, but i have no other idea what to do

Noticed today that my next cloud installation failed to load. Usually a reboot of the raspberry pi fixes this, but not today.

Initially the error was "unable to locate .ocdata (i think) file. I read on one post here that using the touch command can help with this, so in the directory i did touch …ocdata

now when i try to access nextcloud I get the error page

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator if this error reappears multiple times, please include the technical details below in your report.
More details can be found in the server log."

I have no idea what i can do to fix this issue, or even know where to start.

Any suggestions welcome

First always use the search function of this forum to find possible answers on your questions, because your problem (Internal server error) has already been addressed and answered multiple times

Second check your Nextcloud log file for any related errors which might point you to the root cause of your problem.

BTW, the Nextcloud administrator guide is also worth reading.

My humble apologies.

I was in a stress at the time. I could see a few solutions, but didn’t know where to start.

In case it helps other people, it turned out to be my external hard drive.

For some reason it wouldn’t power up.

Eventually did and everything is back to normal
