I have Nextcloud 14 and this is some general QA for the LDAP function.
My Domain Controller is running on a Win2016 server.

I’m wondering if the user that are used to connect to my AD can be just a Domain User?
And also, how can I do so the sync takes the e-mail addresses also?
For now it’s syncing usernames and passwords but not the mail addresses.

I am also running my Domain on 2016.
You could define which users are allowed to login - e.g. you could define a dedicated “Cloud” group and add this to the LDAP filter.

Where have you set up the email address?
My user email addresses gets synchronized automatically.
