LDAP "%uid placeholder is missing"

I’m trying to connect my nextcloud installation to my active directory thorugh LDAP/AD integration but whenever I try to test user credentials under “login attributes” tab I receive the following error:

%uid" placeholder is missing. It will be replaced with the login name when querying LDAP / AD.

My user DN looks as follows

CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=local

whenever I change the first “CN” from administrator to UID, it changes back to CN.
I’ve looked in AD to the user in question and found no UID indeed. But when I enter “adminitrator” in it, the problem remains the same.

Any ideas where I have to look to solve this problem?

Strangely, the problem solved by itself

I unchecked and checked "LDAP / AD username " under tab login attributes and then I was able to connect with AD users.

The DN settings did not change however…

… but problem is solved!
