LDAP owncloud to nextcloud migration

We are thinking about a migration of our OC (9.02) installtion to Nextcloud.

Currently we are using the OC LDAP module for the authorization.
Two questions:

  • Are there known problems for a migration for this point of environment?
  • Is Nextcloud using the same UI for administrative settings as OC?
    I mean this more or less senseless behavior of OC to accept settings without pressing an OK Button? (imho one of the biggest bullshit decision for a administrative interface)

No issues here going from a owncloud 8->9.1 to nextcloud 10 with LDAP support active.
Anyway, backup and I suggest to take a snapshot before the upgrade…
