Is there a public Nextcloud server to test the iOS mobile app?

Hello,

I’m new to Nextcloud and looking to check out the mobile app. I am a designer, so I don’t have the skills to set up an instance of my own server. I was curious if there was a public demo server that can be accessed so that I can check out the UI of the mobile app before my friends and I invest time to proceed with a project.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you devnull!

Hi @devnull, hmmm … bad news. I am getting an error using the iOS mobile app. (I’m on iOS 15.3)

When I open the app and enter “https://try.nextcloud.com” in the server address input field, I am prompted with the error “404: The requested resource could not be found”

I had a friend shared his server with me as well and I got the same error.

Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

In the app you must insert https://demo1.nextcloud.com or https://demo2.nextcloud.com .
That belongs to the server where the user was created. You can see it in the url of your browser.

Sorry i use Android. But you must set the server there e.g. https://cloud.server.tld
You can test the url in a browser. You get the login page.
Perhaps you can better create a free account see my links above for testing.
