Internal Server Error: clean install NC 20.0.4 on ubuntu-server 20.4

Hi,

I try running NC 20.0.4 on a raspi 3B+ and ubuntu server 20.04 and followed the NC documentation example installation for ubuntu server. Could not get past the apache2 default site at first but removed the 000-default.conf from sites-available and now I get this when I try to access http:/myraspi-IP/nextcloud/

The server was unable to complete your request.

If this happens again, please send the technical details below to the server administrator.

More details can be found in the server log.

I appreciate any help. Any information I should provide in addition?

P.S. When I tried a2dissite 000-default.conf it said it is not enabled. Can anyone explain that to me? Because as I removed the file, I got directly to the NC error above.

Is there anyone who could point my in the right direction? As I do not know where to start, the other seemingly related topics are not really helping me. How would you tackle the error?
