The issue you are facing:

I tried to enable MySQL 4-byte support. I followed the instruction of the nextcloud docs. Everything went fine until I took the maintainance mode off and reloaded the side. The error message told me to look into the server log, but there is no entry below data/nextcloud.log

I would think that does not match to my case. I get through the migration with no error. All tables are in the File format compressed and the application isn’t starting correctly anymore.
