Installing Nextcloud on existing Raspbian OS

Hi folks !

I’m very interested on building a home nextcloud server and as I already have a Raspberry pi running OSMC (rasbian based I think) I’m asking if it’s possible to install NextCloud on this distribution ?

I fear that Nextcloud is only available as standalone OS+Soft but maybe there is a way to gather OSMC + Nextcloud on the same device…

Hi Etienne,
on OSMC you can install packages via apt-get:

Try install NC like described here:
https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/15/admin_manual/installation/source_installation.html

Don’t forget a backup of your SD-card :wink:
