I’d like to thank everyone here who is involved in development and setup for Nextcloud. This software is amazing and I look forward to using it in the future.
I’ve run into a minor snag and after several hour googling answers have decided to ask for support in helping get this set up.

The issue you are facing:
Unable to install nextcloud: currently shows a 404 error after install

Steps to replicate it:
The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:
Not able to open Admin> Logging, cannot acess Nextcloud
The output of your config.php file in /path/to/nextcloud (make sure you remove any identifiable information!):
/var/www/nextcloud permission denied
The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in /var/log/____:
/var/log/ does not have a file or folder names /ngix that I can se. There is a Apache2 Error Log, do you want that?

Here’s what was run
Copy from Terminal CLEAN install (after install of Rasbian from NOOBS
Vist IP: see activation screen asking for
Create Admin Account
Username:
Password:
Data Folder /var/www/nextcloud/data
Database User:
Database Password:
Database Name:
Localhost
Filling out these fields throws error
Error while trying to create admin user: Failed to connect to the database: An exception occurred in driver: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user ‘adam’@‘localhost’ (using password: NO)’
Second attempt at reinstall
again using
curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nextcloud/nextcloudpi/master/install.sh | sudo bash
Copy from Terminal DIRTY install (after First install did not work
Now when I visit IP I simply see 404 error.
Please help and thanks for any ninsight you are able to provide 
I’d really like to get this working, but Next cloud is being interesting.
