Hello. I’m using nextcloud web mail in Japanese. In the inbox right-click menu, the item that’s called “clear folder” in English is displayed as “Clear filter” in Japanese. When I click “Clear filter,” all emails are moved to the trash, so the correct way to say it is “clear folder” in English. I’d like to know how to change the Japanese display to the correct one.

Translation of all Nextcloud strings is done at using plattform Transifex.
If it’s just the one string, then you can also mention the previous text and the desired text here and I will make the adaptions.
After a quick view:
English string is “clear folder”.
Is the following japanese correct “フォルダを空にする” ?

“clear folder” ＝ japanese “フォルダを空にする”
If so, how can I get the fix updated on my nextcloud?
I corrected the string seconds ago and will be included in next release of NC.
Wait for the next release or modify the language files locally.
Please incorporate this into the next release.
For now, I’ll try editing the local file using the following as a reference.
