In SFTP External storage the port setting does not have any effect

I’ve been fighting to get external storage with SFTP to a non-standard port to work.

I then tried a connection to a host with standard port and it worked and it worked also if I changed the port to any number.

It seems that the port entry does not have any effect. The first screenshot is with the default port and the second with a random one. Both do work, no effect. To clarify, I want to make a connection to a non-standard port, that does not work.

This is with Nextcloud server 30.0.4

Yeah this is a known issue (and my fault, sorry). You can append the port in the hostname field, however, and it’ll work.
