Idea for a simple share option on PC

I’ve gotten my nextcloud working quite well thanks to all your amazing support, and I had an idea that got into my head. I often am sharing files using my nextcloud, but it’s a bit silly to me to open the browser and page and drag the file to a folder then go to details and share and copy the link. I was wondering if there were a way to do this all in a shell script (powershell for me). Then that way I can make a right click option that will “Share with Nextcloud” which should upload the file using webdav, and then perhaps get the share link to the file using an api request? That’s part I could use some help on. Also if there’s a simpler implementation that makes more sense then please let me know!

Using the Nextcloud Desktop Client!?

I think Nextcloud Desktop Client is a good option.

But for my case, I always have a few public shares prepared for both uploading (editing) and downloading (reading). If you set the public share for uploading (editing) one folder higher, you only need to create it once for editing all subfolders. Used subfolders are deleted and new subfolders including public shares are created from time to time. Only to create i must login on Nextlcoud. I memorise the shares using a kind of bookmark function.
