good afternoon all i installed next cloud a few days ago, today i tried to connect my kodi app on my xbox to next cloud using the webdav option from within kodi.
for some reason it cant connect to the webdav on port 80 or port 443, it gives me an error saying it cant find the host on the network.
the address i am using is http://myserverip/nextcloud/remote.php/webdav/
im using php 7.1 with mysql and apache2
ive disabled the ufw firewall and ive turned off my router firewall to troubleshoot this problem but i still cant connect
Can you visit it over a browser? Can you ping the server from the IP? If the server is on the same network as the client, you need to use the internal IP, not the one you use to access it externally… I suggest looking for standard apache help, this isn’t mediated by Nextcloud but ‘just’ normal networking difficulties
