I miss folder /var/www/nextcloud/ after update

Hi,
after updating my nextcloud via the Web-Interface to the latest version I was left in Maintenance-mode as expected.

I easilly would do:
sudo -u www-data php occ maintenance:mode --off
to fix this, just like the other times.

But if i wanna execute this command in /home folder it says that it couldnt find file occ.

So far so good I thougt and wanted to edit the config.php in the /var/www/nextcloud folder.
But to my surprise there is no folder like this.

So I ask you, what can I do to fix this issue.

You could start with providing more information about your System?

Unfortunately, your approach was completely wrong. If you already have access via shell, you should always do the update this way:

sudo -u www-data php --define apc.enable_cli=1 /var/www/nextcloud/updater/updater.phar
or

sudo -u www-data php /var/www/nextcloud/updater/updater.phar

documentation

Also do not change something in config/config.php. And search your occ or updater.phar this way (maybe with root or sudo):

find / -name occ
find / -name updater.phar

It’s a good thing you didn’t find them. What did you want to change anyway?

Yes. But i think he needs more linux knowledge. Linux knowledge is necessary at the latest when something really breaks. Alternatively, it is better to use a Managed Nextcloud if the data is important.

Is this where you installed Nextcloud?

It sounds like you’ve performed this action before, but the folder is now missing?

What happens when you try to access your Nextcloud URL at the moment?
