Installation went smooth, however I don’t have the plus icon, in order to add a folder, or file. Any idea?
If I drag a file, I get a message:
“You don’t have permission to upload or create files here”
happened with two different installations.
You don’t have proper read/write permissions for your Nextcloud directories. You should check the documentation to see what the proper permissions should be

pardon my ignorance, is that something I set up on the nextcloud side, or server side?
My server is hostgator.
There’s a permission page there, for folders.
It has the same permission that my owncloud has.
I’m obviously missing something, just not sure what…
