I cannot share changed file?

Here is a thing, I have a file in a folder which is set to be shared (link) with other users, but the problem is that whenever I change the content of the file, share link will be somehow broken.

The message will appear:

Error

Can't read file

Can not read this file, probably this is a shared file. Please ask the file owner to reshare the file with you.

I am having the same problem.

I expect sharing to seemlessly continue with the edited file. But sharing link breaks if I change the shared file locally and let it sync. (“Allow editing” option in sharing seems to have no effect. Not sure what it does anyway)

Any ideas on how to fix it, or is this how it is designed? (I am using nextcloud 12)
