How to select multiple files without clicking on each file?

Nextcloud Version: 30.0.0
Web Browsers: Brave (v 1.69.168), Chrome (v 129.0.6668.58)
OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1

I am referring specifically to the Files app in NC.
I have been searching online for a solution to this (simple?) problem.
The Shift + Select isn’t working. And there is no ‘select file range’ option when selecting and right-clicking a file.

At the end of 2023 it was reported that the ‘Shift + Select’ feature was working for Chrome but not for Firefox. It seems like now it is no longer working in Chrome either.

Does anyone know what’s up with this feature? Does it work for anyone else out there with NC 30?

I cannot tell you how Chrome behaves, but with Nextcloud 29.0.7 and Firefox 131.0 you can click on the 1. file in a list and then shift-click on the 5. file in a list to mark 5 files.

Unfortunately, doesn’t work for my too;
Nextcloud 30.0.1 and Firefox 132.0.1

Apparently will be fixed in 30.0.3
