Two years ago I installed and configured a nextcloud instance on esxi from www.hanssonit.se. I believe it included NC 14.x and ubuntu 18.x.
I see there’s a new vm out with ubuntu 20 now. No doubt there’s a bunch of improvements in the underlying system config compared to the one I have.
My question is how do I migrate the nextcloud data over - files, databases, etc. to this new appliance. When the new appliance is installed to esxi, it wants to go through a configuration process. Do I let it do its thing then move the config over? How?
I’ve spent a few hours trying to find a how to guide for this scenario but came up short.
