How to install Nextcloud + Collabora for local (test) usage without certificates

I would like to install Collabora only for usage on a localhost inside our company network. I have a single server that runs Ubuntu 16.04 with Nextcloud and docker already installed. I would like to know how to proceed given that the official installation guide is written for a scenario with public access via internet.

I thought of changing the official setup instructions in the following way:
1. Pull docker code and run collabora on local host:

docker pull collabora/code
docker run -t -d -p 10.0.0.10:9980:9980 --restart always --cap-add MKNOD collabora/code

which basically just leaves out the "-e ‘domain=cloud\.nextcloud\.com’ " option and points the internal ip to my server in the company network.

2. Skip installing the apache reverse proxy which was already done during nextcloud installtion.

3. Configuration of Virtual host

Not sure if I need that. I would argue that not. However the path to SSL certificates is defined here. I tried to use the self signed certificates from my server but that does not work. What should I do to solve this problem?
